26 March 2007: Finally brought the second mustang home today. After much work in the garage getting rid of things and finishing projects we finally had enough room for a second car in there. It kind of looks strange seeing two mustangs in the garage, but I can definitely get used to it.
Haven't worked on the car at all in some time. My Grampa passed away in December '06 and I haven't felt like doing much in regards to the car lately. He was always interested in what was going on with it and kept track by reading my posts here, so it's a little hard now that I know he's not reading this any more. But I know he's watching from a better place.
Now I've got all the parts together in one place and I can compare the two a little better as well. Now if I could just find a bunch of money.....
Current Design Ideas
Basic concept is to have it look stock.
Change interior from red to black - keep deluxe interior.
Baer Disc Brakes on all four corners.
Color will be the original color: Candy Apple Red.
Keep C-6 auto trans, but switch to 4 speed top-loader in future
Keep the 9 in. solid rear axle - just change gears - 3.50 or 3.91?
Replace fuel tank w/Fuel Cell.
Fuel tank filler on left roof rail (see picture).
